On your Orbi Router, connect an Ethernet cable into the Internet port with its other end going into the LAN port of your existing router or gateway.
On your PC, launch a web browser and type ‘http://orbilogin.com’ in the address bar. You can do it on your smartphone as well if the PC is not available.
You will see a login window opening on the screen.
Enter the username and password (which is admin and password respectively) of the router and hit ‘login’ button.
The home page appears on the screen.
Select ‘Advanced’, then ‘Advanced Setup’ and finally, ‘Router/AP Mode’.
Select the AP mode.
Click ‘Apply’.
