David Lionel Mejias, one of the managing partners at the law firm Mejias, Milgrim, Alvarado & Lindo is a well-known figure of law in Long Island. He had practiced law here for 18 years. Dave was elected at the Nassau County Legislature in 2003 and he became the first Latino to be elected in that position. He was also the president for 6 years at the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association and at present, he is serving as the Chairman at a charitable branch of this association known as the Long Island Hispanic Bar Foundation.
