This is a dual-band 5 port wireless router, which is suitable for large homes. Built especially for gaming, streaming, and mobile devices, this router features a 1 GHz dual-core processor with beam forming and high-powered external antennas. You can access the Nighthawk router remotely using the Netgear Genie or Ready cloud interface. It has prioritized bandwidth for gaming and streaming videos. You can use this router for connecting multiple devices to the internet at the same time and that too without any buffering problem.
The steps for the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 setup are:
Unpack the router from the box and connect the external antennas to it.
Connect the modem to the router using the yellow port given on the rear of it.
Turn on the modem and the router and wait for the power LED to blink.
If the router doesn’t turn on, then check the power button from the back of it.
Connect the client device to the SSID of the router and then, enter the password given on the sticker.
Open a web browser and type www.routerlogin.net.
If prompted, key in the username and the password.
You are now taken to the ‘New password’ page after which, you will have to enter the new password twice to confirm it.
Read on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
