Scheduled Downtime: Feb. 22nd - 8am UTC
Feb. 18th 2014 | by Stefan Schuster
Update: The maintenance has ended by now. No problems occurred during the maintenance. We haven't been able to stick to our more optimistic promises regarding the duration of this downtime though, so it took until Sunday afternoon before everything was back to normal again. We'll keep watching the service during the next hours in case the changes trigger some new bugs, and will provide a summary of the changes tomorrow.
Original text: Next Saturday, starting at 8am UTC (that's for example 3am in the US east coast, and 5pm in Japan, Tokyo), Mind42 will go down for an extended maintenance period. We'll migrate to a new database system, and this will unfortunately take some time. We expect to be down for most of Saturday if everything goes fine, maybe even parts of Sunday if we run into problems. By Monday though everything should be back to normal, which is our main goal. Since Mind42 is mostly used from Monday till Thursday we hope that this date will affect the least amount of users.
We're sorry for the inconvenience in case you had planned a mind mapping session this weekend. So thank you for your understanding.
