Steps to Install Arlo Camera:
Unpack the Arlo security camera box.
It consists of the Arlo camera and the Arlo base station.
Connect the base station to your wireless network.
Connect the AC adapter to a power source.
Connect the base station to your router using an Ethernet cable.
Please turn on the power switch in the base station to turn it on.
The Arlo base station comes with power and an internet LED.
It will turn green once the pairing is complete to your wireless network.
Now, the initial installation is done.
Next is to download the Arlo Security app on your Android or iOS device.
(Enter arlo.netgear.com in the address bar of the browser if you are using your computer).
Tap or click New to Arlo in the app.
Select Arlo wire-free. (the app will detect your device).
Check to see if your base station’s serial number matches the one mentioned in the app.
To complete the installation, you must now sync your Arlo camera with the base station.
Bring the Arlo camera within 1 to 3 feet of the base station.
Press the sync button in the base station for a few seconds and release the button.
Wait until the sync status LED is lit green.
Press the sync button on the Arlo security camera for 2 seconds and release it.
The blue LED on the camera will start blinking rapidly to confirm the sync.
The installation is now complete for your Arlo Security camera.
